Staten Island OutLOUD invites you to join us to read & discuss excerpts from “The Souls of Animals” by Gary Kowalski. After our reading, a Parks Dept volunteer will lead an optional walk around this unusual park. Mariners Marsh has been restored as a wild marshland, home to an interesting variety of plant and animal life. The site was formerly used for heavy industry, but now it is enjoyed by the public as vibrant parkland.
